I am a dedicated Carnatic Vocal Music teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, specializing in guiding students from beginners to advanced levels. My focus is on building a strong and disciplined foundation in Carnatic music, including shruti, laya, voice culture, varnams, kritis, devotional songs, and concert-oriented training. My aim is to help students not only learn music but also experience its depth and emotional richness.

I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree along with a Diploma in Music from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh. My academic training, combined with years of practical learning and teaching experience, has helped me develop a strong understanding of both the theoretical and performance aspects of Carnatic music. This enables me to train students in a structured and effective manner.

My musical journey began at a young age, where I actively participated in various competitions and received recognition and prizes. These early experiences helped me build confidence as a performer and deepened my passion for music. Over time, I transitioned into teaching, where I have been able to share my knowledge and guide students in developing their vocal abilities.

With more than a decade of teaching experience, I have trained numerous students and helped them strengthen their fundamentals in Carnatic vocal music. I focus on improving voice quality, pitch control, rhythm accuracy, and expression, while also preparing students for performances and examinations. My approach ensures steady progress for learners at every stage.

My teaching methodology is structured, step-by-step, and student-friendly. I begin with basic swaras and gradually progress to varnams, kritis, and bhajans based on the learner’s level. Each session is interactive and practice-oriented, with regular voice exercises, revision, and performance practice to build confidence and consistency in singing.

I am fluent in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, which allows me to explain concepts in a language that students are comfortable with. I also incorporate devotional songs and bhajans into my teaching to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Along with vocal training, I guide students in pronunciation, rhythm, and expressive singing to enhance their overall musical development.

In addition to Carnatic vocal training, I also mentor students in basic songwriting and music composition. I help learners understand how to create simple melodies, structure songs, and explore devotional songwriting and bhajan composition. This creative aspect of learning encourages students to develop their own musical expression and grow as confident, independent musicians.
