Periyava Padham Sharanam

I am Annapoorni Gopalakrishnan alias Meera Gopalakrishnan. I am fortunate enough to be trained in Classical Carnatic Music under good gurus Smt Seetha Rajan; Late Shri Bombay Ramachandran sir and currently with Smt Padma Chandilyan. I have a total of about 20 years of experience in the Carnatic Music realm. I have been aching online for the last 8 years ( n one) before which I was working in the Corporate Sector in Human Resources.

Under all my Gurus' able guidance, I received a Scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training in Classical Carnatic Music from the Govt of India. I have given many group concerts in esteemed Sabhas such as the Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, Krishna Gana Sabha, et al with Smt Seetha Rajan's group - Bala Brindam, and certain individual concerts too.

On the educational front, I have completed my MBA in HR and Marketing from SSN School of Management and Computer Applications I worked with organizations of repute in the Manufacturing space before I jumped into music and shlokas full-time.

I also teach Sriman Narayaneeyam online - free of cost as a service with His Grace.
