Max School of Music

My background is primarily in music education and performance. I have over 12 years of experience as a music teacher, choir master, and instrumental trainer, teaching piano, keyboard, guitar, pipe organ, and vocal music.

I am the Founder of Maxwell School of Music in Chennai, where I conduct both private and group music lessons for students of different ages and skill levels. I also prepare students for Trinity College London graded music examinations and focus on building strong foundations in music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques.

In addition, I worked as a Music Teacher at St. Thomas Academy CBSE School in Chennai, where I helped train students in keyboard and music theory and supported school concerts and cultural events. One of my key achievements there was composing the school anthem in 2018.

Alongside teaching, I have been serving as a Choir Master and Music Ministry Coordinator at St. Francis Xavier Church in Pallavaram for many years, where I lead the choir, arrange hymns, and provide instrumental music for liturgical celebrations.

I also have international exposure, having worked in customer support administration at Direct Line Group in Liverpool, UK, which helped me strengthen my communication, organization, and professional skills.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, a Master’s in Engineering Management from Middlesex University London, and an MBA in Logistics from Periyar University, along with Grade VIII certification from Trinity College London in music.

Overall, my experience combines music education, choir leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring students, and I am passionate about helping students develop their musical abilities and confidence.
