I have around 10 years of experience in higher education, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in Civil and Structural Engineering. Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai, and also serve as the Part-Time Coordinator for the Civil Engineering programme. Previously, I worked as Head of the Department at Achariya College of Engineering Technology and as an Assistant Professor at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College and Christ College of Engineering and Technology.
My teaching experience includes subjects related to Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Reinforced Concrete Design, Construction Materials, and other structural engineering areas. I have guided numerous B.Tech and M.Tech student projects, particularly in Textile Reinforced Concrete, sustainable construction materials, and fibre-reinforced concrete.
I actively promote research-oriented learning through technical workshops, project expos, guest lectures, survey camps, and industry-oriented activities. My academic experience is supported by a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and research publications in international journals, enabling me to integrate research, practical applications, and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom learning.
