What started as a focused interest in embroidering at tender ages, became a full-blown professional venture into the art of weaving rare thread patterns like Kutch, Kantha, Aari, Zardozi after 30 years of dedication and practice.
I learnt from my seniors and practiced rare embroidery-work individually in Abu Dhabi and Chennai.
At, Aarabi Couture I am committed to sharing my love for traditional, ethnic wearing patterns that bring out the individuality in you. What sets Aarabi apart from run-of-the-mill designs available in markets and other designers, is the respect for customersâ?? creative freedom.
In Chennai, I am teaching Kutch, Kantha, Aari, Zardozi , fabric painting on sarees and kurthis to women having same passion.
I am ready to offer jobs to those women who is out with skills.
