"Is ear twisting and pinching a good punishment for students under 10th? I have heard from some teachers ear twisting makes the brain work fast. How many of the teachers applying this as punishment ?" in   Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition/English

The purpose of punishment is to stop a child from doing what you don't want - and using a painful or unpleasant method to stop him. There are basically four kinds of punishment physical punishment - slapping, spanking, switching, paddling, and using a belt or hair brush. verbal punishment - shaming, ridiculing, using cruel words, saying "I don't love you." withholding rewards - "You can't watch TV if you don't do your homework." penalties - "You broke the window so you will have to pay for it with money from your allowance." The first two kinds of punishment, physical and verbal, are not considered to be effective discipline methods. The other two, withholding rewards and giving penalties, can be used either as effective discipline methods or as punishment - depending on how parents administer them. Note: Since it is awkward to refer to the child as ?he/she,? all references in these lessons to the child as ?he? refer to both boys and girls. Mild or Harsh? It is important to look at the way parents administer physical punishments. A swat on the bottom is a mild physical punishment. While it may do no permanent physical harm, it does not help the child develop a conscience. Instead, it teaches him that physical violence is an acceptable way of dealing with problems. Parents should avoid physical punishment. If they find themselves using it, then something is wrong and their method of discipline is not working. They may as well admit that spanking is more effective in relieving the parents' frustration than in teaching the child self-control. More effective methods are needed. Harsh physical punishment and verbal harassment can never be justified as ways to discipline children. Parents usually boast when they are angry; a parent may not realize how hard he is striking the child. Verbal talk hurts the child's self concept.

"Who contributes more to society housewives or working women (debate)?" in   Tuition/BA Tuition, Tuition/BA Tuition/English Communication

Housewives are needed nowadays!! Earning money, not looking in the husband pockets , having a career, having a maid to take care the household chores in her absence may be the best arrangement for single parenting. It is horrible to any new mom who needs to go out and earn her monthly salary so as her family can make this month. Financial independence, professional hike, career oriented can be proudly stated terms for the working women. Hello , there are women who are working as their maid, working in factory, working in night shifts are also working women. Working as a maid and cleaning other person utensils is also a job. Is she proud about that?? Never. Working in top companies and getting 5 digit salary can hire a women and make her do the chores. There are many sick working women who cannot leave the job and sit because of her loan due. I want those ladies who call the house wives as leech to work as maid on some house and earn the salary to pride about the working women status quo. India is still developing countries. A developed country like USA where a women cannot have a maid as possible as an indian working women. She needs to take care of her chores/ sharing the work with her partners. Are we able to make it without a maid/ or any relation(other than a partner)? Preheating a kichiidi and travelling 12 hours a day to work is not a boon. I am speaking the half. The other problems arises when the husband cannot have a living without his wife salary and praying she still carry a job. We are converting our men as a leech who is expecting each income from every person included in the family. We dont know the call till our sons come out and call his sister is useless as she is not earning for the family. Please pride about those women who is working for you in your house hold to type about the house wives as leech.
