I am a passionate researcher and educator with a Ph.D. from IIT Madras and around 12 years of combined industry and teaching experience. My career has included work in industrial R&D as well as core academia, giving me a strong combination of practical and academic exposure. I teach Mathematics and Physics to students from Classes 9 to 12 and also mentor drop-year students, with a strong focus on developing conceptual foundations and independent problem-solving abilities.

My teaching is particularly focused on helping students understand the reasoning behind Mathematics and Physics rather than relying only on memorized formulas. My academic and research background has given me the opportunity to work with advanced concepts and develop a rigorous approach to problem-solving. I bring this perspective into my classes while adapting explanations to the student's academic level and requirements.

I mentor students preparing for competitive examinations as well as students following Indian and international curricula, including CBSE, IB DP, AP, and IGCSE. In Mathematics, I work on areas such as Calculus, Geometry, and Vector Algebra, while in Physics I cover topics including Electromagnetism and Wave Optics. I focus on building a strong understanding of fundamentals so that students can approach both familiar and challenging problems with greater clarity.

My teaching methodology is based on first-principles learning and conceptual clarity. Wherever appropriate, I derive concepts and equations step by step so that students understand the reasoning behind them. I believe this approach helps students develop stronger mathematical and scientific intuition and makes it easier for them to apply concepts to unfamiliar questions.

I also teach structured problem-solving techniques to help students break complex, multi-concept questions into smaller and more manageable steps. Instead of immediately providing solutions, I encourage students to analyze the problem, identify the relevant concepts, and develop a systematic approach to solving it. This helps build independent thinking and gives students greater confidence when working with challenging questions.

My research and industry experience also allows me to connect textbook concepts with practical engineering and scientific applications wherever relevant. I use examples and explanations that demonstrate how Mathematics and Physics are applied beyond the classroom. I conduct both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to explain concepts, solve problems, and make sessions interactive. Students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate throughout the class.

I also provide personalized mentorship by tracking each student's progress and identifying areas that require additional attention. Based on their learning pace and requirements, I provide targeted practice, customized assignments, and guidance for doubt resolution. My overall aim is to help students develop strong conceptual foundations, mathematical rigor, practical understanding, independent problem-solving skills, and the confidence to tackle challenging academic and competitive-examination problems.
