Jacob Darwin

I have a background in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Through my academic learning and hands-on projects, I have developed practical knowledge of Python programming, object-oriented programming, Machine Learning fundamentals, and AI applications.
My project experience includes working on a supermarket-related Machine Learning project and exploring a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) application using Python, document processing, embeddings, vector databases, and large language models.
Although I am at the beginning of my formal teaching journey, I am passionate about helping students understand programming concepts clearly and confidently. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and practice coding through real-world examples.
**My teaching methodology includes:**
- Explaining programming concepts step by step using simple language and relatable examples.
- Teaching Python fundamentals, including variables, data types, conditional statements, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, and basic object-oriented programming.
- Using live coding demonstrations and guided exercises to reinforce learning.
- Encouraging students to solve small coding challenges to improve logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Helping students identify and fix errors so they become independent programmers.
- Introducing beginner-friendly projects to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

**Education and subject expertise:**
