Dr. R. Angeline P.

I am a Professor in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering). I am a Ph.D. Degree holder in Civil Engineering with M. Tech. degree in Geotechnical Engineering. I have 33 years of teaching experience. In addition to the above Teaching, Research and Administrative experience, I have nearly 1½ years industrial experience in Malaysia where I served as a Geotechnical Engineer in a Consultancy firm.

I am planning to take personal /online tuition classes for Civil Engineering students. I can handle Structural Engineering subjects and Geotechnical Engineering subjects subjects such as Geotechnical Engineering I (Soil Mechanics), Foundation Engineering, Mechanics of Solids, Mechanics of Structures, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Structural Analysis, Design of Substructures, Design of Concrete Structures – I & II , Design of Steel Structures – I & II ,Advanced Design of Concrete Structures, Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Structures, Ground Improvement Techniques, Concrete Technology. I have designed many structures : Residential buildings, Shopping Complex, School buildings, Cinema theatres, Kalyana Mandapam with different types of foundations for varied soil conditions. I can analyse the structures using STAAD Pro and other softwares used for design.

I have published 25 papers in International Journals, 6 papers in National Journals, 22 papers in International Conferences and 31 papers in National Conferences. I have guided 5 Ph.D. Research scholars (completed), 28 PG projects in Structural Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering. At present I am guiding 6 Ph.D. research scholars. The areas of Interest in research are Cold-formed steel structures, Concrete structures, Composite structures, Retrofitting of Structures, Sustainable Concrete.
