1. Why do I teach? As an academician teaching is an integral part of my identity. Because we are a scholar inside and outside of the tech as my research informs teaching and teaching informs my research. Prior to my research, I developed a passion in helping students to critically solve the mathematical problems in quantitative methods. My prof. Dr. V. Arul Mozhi Selvan enthusiasm for teaching was contagious. I also appreciated their constant availability to answer questions and their use of different strategies to engage us in learning. I have carried these qualities to my own classroom.
