I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in Community Medicine or Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM) with a special focus on the fields of national health programmes, biostatistics, communicable and non-communicable illnesses, RMNCHA, and other new topics. I received my medical degree (MD Community Medicine) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and a fellowship in diabetology from Apollo Medvarsity.

My overall experience in the medical sector spans eleven years, and I've been working as a medical educator for the past five years. My field expertise enables me to comprehend better how the theoretical component relates to the rest of the course. Even though community medicine is a dry subject with many hard topics, the students who take my class always go away with a better understanding of the material.

After determining the level of prior knowledge possessed by the learner, I move on to the next step of the course. First, I give examples/situations or share some of my field experience in public health, then explain the theoretical component and how to present it in the exam. This is how I teach, and it sets me apart from other instructors because I don't rely solely on bookish knowledge. The course length I provide ranges from one month to three months.

I always make sure to keep my sessions interactive, and we have a lot of brainstorming sessions to figure out what the student got out of the lecture. In my experience, assigning daily homework is the most effective method for tutoring community medicine. Because of this, I will give you regular notes (in PowerPoint) and organise tests. The most difficult concepts eventually become simpler, and students' self-assurance grows as a direct result of this process.
