IdentityI have been teaching guitar since 2009 and have diversified knowledge in various styles of guitar playing, with a specialty in Rock, Blues, Indian music, Fusion and also the Classical finger-style guitar.
My approach towards teaching guitar to my students is to make them understand the fundamentals of the instrument, how to focus when practicing it, and make steady progress until they start playing it with confidence.Making students understand the logic behind whichever aspect of guitar they happen to be learning in class is something that I consider very important. Also, the classes are aimed at showing them how it will eventually help them achieve their musical goals - be it long-term or short-term.
Students learn music improvisational skills on the instrument along with ear training, music theory, music appreciation, and are also taught to learn and play songs of any genre of their interest by ear on their own.
All group classes are conducted in small group of 2-3 students at a time to personalize the experience and are designed to be interactive,wherein learners are taught to constantly apply the techniques they have learnt. Individual classes are also taken.
Students can also opt to appear for Trinity grade exams for the guitar and receive training for the same.
