IdentityI am Asha Ravisankar, a very patient, loving and kind carnatic music teacher for kids and beginners. I have made good singers out of beginners who have had no prior singing experience. My students enjoy coming to my classes. I teach 4 year olds to older students. I teach online as well as offline. I make sure I don't postpone or cancel my classes unless and until it is something really important. The children who learn from me look forward for each of my classes. It takes a lot of patience for one to teach kids who are difficult to manage. I go by their mood and encourage them so much that they love singing. I make sure the students record each class for practicing at their homes. I also teach small bhajans and keerthanas along with basic lessons so that kids don't get bored. I have experience teaching carnatic vocals, semi classical vocals as well as cine music vocals.
I have several years of learning experience. I learnt from smt. Lalitha Shivakumar, a leading carnatic musician, who is the daughter in law of late D.K.Pattammal mam and also the mother of leading carnatic and film music playback singer Smt.Nithyashree Mahadevan.
