I am an upcoming Carnatic vocalist, devoted to the art form for the past 20 years. With humble beginnings in Chennai, I embarked on my musical journey at a young age and have been under the inspiring tutelage of the Kalaimamani Mambalam Sisters for the past 12 years.

My academic journey has been a blend of both science and art. I hold a Diploma in Carnatic Music from the University of Madras and am currently pursuing my MA in Music. In parallel, I have completed my undergraduate studies in Physics from SDNB Vaishnav College for Women, a second undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Madras, and a postgraduate degree in Physics from the Department of Theoretical Physics, University of Madras.

Over the years, I have actively participated in and won several prestigious competitions held by Indian Fine Arts, Mylapore Fine Arts, and the Music Academy at the district, state, and national levels. I was honored to receive the Yuva Sri Kala Bharathi award in recognition of my musical excellence.

I’ve had the opportunity to perform on a variety of platforms — from sacred temple concerts and renowned sabhas to television appearances on Doordarshan Podhigai. My soulful renditions have also reached global audiences through YouTube and Facebook live sessions.

My musical venture extends to founding Smrithi Swaralaya School of Music, where I mentor students from across the world.
My singing is rooted in tradition, discipline, and the pure joy of sharing music with the world.
