Dear music lovers,
I am Anuradha, from Chennai, have been in the music teaching profession for the past 8 years.
I have been honoured to study under the deep guidance of my beloved Guru Dr. N.S. Lakshmy. I performed in many concerts and group events.

Due to my passion on Carnatic Music, I started my music school named Layadhara in 2019.I got an opportunity to make my own book for my music school, which covers classical bhajans in various languages and has essential theoretical aspects which are mandatory for the one who learns Carnatic music. It solves the purpose learning theoretical part of Grade examinations as well.

What special aspects about Layadhara music school....

Teaching for all age group from 5 yrs. to 60.

Flexible timings and one - one or maximum two kids per batch.

I can teach in English / Tamil languages.

I treat students very friendly, and create fearless learning environment, which helps to learn with joy

Teaching methodology

I provide study material of my music school to all the students, which helps both parents and me to have a proper track follow-up.

For kids,
I teach basics of Carnatic Music, Bhajans set in Carnatic Ragas, simple Devotional songs. From Grade level 2, students should be given special voice training exercises
For Tamil lovers, I teach திருக்குறள் (Thirukural), set in proper ragam and talam.

For elders
Based on the request, I teach Devotional songs, Tamil or Sanskrit Devotional verses (விநாயகர் அகவல் Vinayagar agaval, கோளாறுபதிகம் (kolarupathigam), திருப்பாவை (Thirupaavai), திருவெம்பாவை (Thiruvempaavai), etc.

I provide audio of every new lesson, once it has been taught to kids, which helps them to practice regularly at home. I encourage students to send back the practiced audio which trigger the boldness in singing.

I encourage students to participate various music competitions, group events and I completely help them in all the way possible.

Layadhara music school create an opportunity and train all students including beginners also to sing in Radio app (Recently started app named Radiopetti), which could be heard anywhere from the world.

I send my students for appearing Music grade exams in the reputed institutions like TTDMC (for home students) and Bridge academy for NRI (Online students).

All the above factors trigger up the confidence and interest in learning. Once interest induced on something rest will follow us smoothly.
