My journey into teaching began after several years in engineering and software development. While I built a strong foundation in analytical and logical thinking during that time, I discovered my true calling wasn't behind a screen — it was in the classroom, watching a concept finally click for a child who thought they'd never understand it. That realization led me to shift fully into teaching, and it's a decision I've never looked back on. Over the past 2+ years, I have focused specifically on tutoring children in Classes I-V, across all subjects including Maths, English, EVS, and Science. I find this age group especially rewarding to teach — children at this stage are naturally curious, and I love the challenge of finding the right approach for each child, whether that means turning a tricky Maths problem into a simple, visual explanation or helping a child build the confidence to ask questions without hesitation. Alongside one-on-one and classroom tutoring, I conducted a 12-week robotics workshop for 8-13 year olds at Learning Lever, Chennai. This experience deepened my understanding of how young learners engage with hands-on, project-based learning — building logical thinking step by step, much like how I approach teaching Maths. It reinforced my belief that children learn best when concepts are broken into small, achievable milestones that build confidence along the way. I bring the same rigor and structured problem-solving mindset from my engineering background into how I teach, which helps me break down concepts — especially in Maths — into small, manageable steps that build a child's confidence over time. My teaching style is patient and student-paced, focusing on strengthening fundamentals rather than rushing through the syllabus, since I believe a strong foundation in the early years makes all future learning easier. In my time tutoring Class I-V students, I have helped several children move from struggling with basic concepts to feeling confident and engaged in their studies. What excites me most about this work is those small, steady breakthroughs — a child who once dreaded Maths starting to enjoy solving problems, or a shy student finally raising their hand to ask a question.

I have worked as a Kindergarten Teacher in an Academy institute in US where my son was studying. Also I was a Robotics tutor in STEM institute and conducted workshops for LEGO League ,for kids aged between 7 to 13, volunteer Tutor for LetsTeachEnglish for middle school kids of Govt schools.
