My journey in Vedic Mathematics has been both exciting and deeply fulfilling. As a Mathematics educator with a strong academic background, I was naturally drawn to Vedic Maths because of its simplicity, speed, and logical beauty. What began as a curiosity gradually transformed into a passion and a powerful teaching tool in my career. Vedic Mathematics has helped me rediscover numbers in a new way. The techniques, based on ancient Indian mathematical principles, make complex calculations simple and enjoyable. I was fascinated by how quickly large multiplications, divisions, squares, and algebraic expressions could be solved using sutras and sub-sutras. This system not only improved my calculation speed but also strengthened my mental ability, concentration, and confidence. As a Vedic Maths trainer associated with SkillSix Academy, I have had the opportunity to teach students from primary to higher grades. My experience includes preparing students for competitive exams, conducting online sessions, and helping learners overcome their fear of Mathematics. I have seen remarkable improvements in students’ speed, accuracy, and interest in the subject. Many students who once found Maths difficult began to enjoy solving problems after learning Vedic techniques. One of the most memorable experiences in my journey was participating in the Vedic Maths Champions League, where I answered 64 out of 75 questions within 9.16 minutes. This experience boosted my confidence and motivated me to continue refining my skills. It also reinforced my belief that consistent practice and the right techniques can significantly enhance performance. Teaching Vedic Maths has also helped me grow personally. It has improved my communication skills, patience, and creativity in explaining concepts in simple ways. I enjoy designing worksheets, interactive activities, and mental math challenges that make learning engaging and effective. For me, Vedic Mathematics is not just about fast calculation; it is about developing a sharp mind, logical thinking, and self-belief. It bridges traditional wisdom with modern educational needs. My goal is to continue spreading the knowledge of Vedic Maths to students across the country and globally through online platforms, helping them build confidence and excel in Mathematics. Overall, my experience in Vedic Mathematics has been transformative, empowering both me and my students to approach numbers with clarity, speed, and enthusiasm.
