I am a composite materials engineer with a Master’s by Research in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in composite materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical behavior.

I specialize in composite laminate theory, failure criteria (Tsai-Wu, Hashin, Puck), micromechanics of composites, and multi-scale material modeling. My expertise extends to composite processing techniques such as Automated Tape Layering (ATL), Automated Fiber Placement (AFP), Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), autoclave curing, and filament winding, along with woven and non-woven textile composite manufacturing.

During my research at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC, UK), I worked on process optimization, defect analysis, and in-situ monitoring of composite manufacturing. I have hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques including Digital Image Correlation (DIC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), and mechanical testing (tensile, flexural, shear, impact).

With a strong grasp of structural health monitoring, Industry 4.0-driven smart manufacturing, and data-driven composite process optimization, I integrate both theoretical and practical knowledge in my tutoring. My expertise also includes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for composites, using tools like ANSYS and Abaqus for failure prediction, progressive damage modeling, and multi-scale simulations.

I have published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences, refining my ability to teach and explain complex topics in an engaging and structured manner.
