Trading Framework: From Basic to Advanced
1. Price Action Foundation
Market Structure: Higher highs/lows (bullish), lower highs/lows (bearish), ranges, and breakouts.
Key Levels: Previous day high/low, session highs/lows, round numbers, and psychological zones.
Candlestick Signals: Rejection wicks, engulfing bars, inside bars, and momentum candles at key levels.
Trend & Range Identification: Clear rules to classify market state and avoid trading against the dominant flow.
2. Liquidity & ICT Concepts
Liquidity Pools: Equal highs/lows, swing points, and obvious retail stop clusters.
Liquidity Sweeps: Identifying stop hunts and fakeouts before real moves.
Order Blocks (OB): Last opposing candle before a strong displacement move; used as high-probability entry zones.
Fair Value Gaps (FVG) / Imbalances: Three-candle patterns where price moved too fast, leaving an unfilled gap that often acts as a magnet or support/resistance.
Market Structure Shift (MSS) & CHoCH: First clear break against the trend signaling potential reversal.
Session Logic: Asian range → London sweep → New York continuation/reversal, adapted to Nifty’s open and global cues.
3. Order Flow & Microstructure
Footprint Charts: Reading aggressive buyers/sellers at each price level.
Delta & Cumulative Delta: Spotting divergence between price and order-flow aggression.
Volume Profile: Identifying high-volume nodes (value areas) and low-volume nodes (potential breakout paths).
Imbalance Stacks: Consecutive aggressive buy/sell imbalances confirming institutional participation.
Absorption & Exhaustion: Large volume with little price progress (absorption) or shrinking volume at extremes (exhaustion).
Execution Model
Top-Down Bias: Higher timeframe structure → intraday bias → key liquidity zones.
Wait for Liquidity: Let price sweep obvious stops or tap an order block/FVG.
Confirm with MSS/CHoCH: Look for a displacement candle breaking structure in the intended direction.
Entry Trigger: Limit order at retest of OB/FVG or market entry on confirmed imbalance.
Risk Management: Stop beyond the liquidity sweep or order block; target at the next liquidity pool or structural level.
Trade Journaling: Every trade logged with screenshots, rationale, and post-trade review.
