With over 15 years as a Taekwondo athlete and more than 5 years of coaching experience, I have dedicated my career to advancing both competitive sports and practical self-defence training. My journey began as an athlete, where I earned multiple accolades at international, national, and university levels, representing India at the World University Games 2023 and participating in the Asian Games Camp. These experiences shaped my discipline, technical expertise, and understanding of high-performance training. Currently, I serve as the Head Coach at Balaji Centre of Sports and Fitness, Khara, Mohali, where I design and lead structured programs for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals seeking self-defence skills. My role involves teaching practical self-defence techniques derived from Taekwondo, focusing on real-life scenarios such as handling physical threats, building confidence, and enhancing situational awareness. I also mentor young athletes, guiding them through technical development, mental conditioning, and competitive preparation. Over the years, I have conducted self-defence awareness workshops, emphasizing empowerment, safety, and discipline, particularly among students and youth. My approach balances traditional martial arts with modern fitness practices, ensuring that learners not only gain self-defence abilities but also improve overall health and confidence. Through my combined experience as an athlete and coach, I continue to promote martial arts as both a sport and a vital life skill, empowering individuals to protect themselves and achieve personal excellence.
