Nikita B.

I completed my B. Tech in Civil Engineering in 2014, but soon discovered my passion for writing and storytelling. I trained in Creative Writing at the British Council, New Delhi, and went on to pursue a Master’s in Convergent Journalism at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. During my studies, I wrote for leading publications like The Hindu and The Times of India, which strengthened my narrative and reporting skills.

After graduating in 2018, I joined Hindustan Times as a correspondent and later worked with various print and multimedia organizations. I have written on politics, education, women’s rights, arts, and culture, and have also produced video stories on climate change and environmental issues. My experience across writing, reporting, travel, and multimedia storytelling equips me to guide students in developing strong creative expression and effective communication.
