First and the most important thing is switch off your phone or log out from all possible social media sites…

Second (this personally helps me a lot) remove all the clocks / watches from the room that you're studying in… A lot of time is wasted in you trying to accomplish timed targets instead just focus on the goal of completing atleast 75% of your syllabus well rather than finishing everything..

Third, sit down with all the required things so that you don't have to waste time moving around or calling people to lend you things.. Keep some fruits handy as they help stimulate the brain while keeping you healthy and alert.. remember to keep sipping on water at regular intervals…

Read aloud… it's helps you focus on what you're saying and just try to understand the basic concepts of whatever you're studying instead of mugging up or byhearting things…

Do not waste time on things that are difficult to understand as you probably won't remember them under pressure…

Close all your books after each topic and just try and recollect whatever you've read.. it's not important to repeat everything but just see if you know stuff…

f you're studying last time, remember, whatever you do, do it once and do it well.. it's alright if you don't finish the entire syllabus but it's important to remember the little that you've studied well.. set a target of 75%-80% and I'm sure the rest 20% could just be gone through or read…

Also, attempt everything in the paper… Apply simple logic to things that you aren't aware of… write in one sentence but don't leave things blank…

When looking to switch your job, listen to yourself. What companies/industries excite you? Make a list. Learn more about them.

When you have a solid idea about where you want to go, talk to people in the industry  Who can you talk to who works in it? Send them a note. Take them out to coffee. If you don't know anyone in the industry, who in your network does?

In the meantime, what can you do on the side to make yourself more better to an employer that demonstrates that you're passionate about the industry? Start a blog? Create a project? Take initiative in a way that you're comfortable with and that interests you.

Don't get overwhelmed. Take little steps each day. It will add up and give you momentum. You're on your way.
