"How should I prepare for SSB ..??" in SSB Coaching classes
Amit please clarify--written or interview?? I take it you are concerned about the interview. This is a good basic link--http://www.mapsofindia.com/education/how-to-prepare/ssb.html. Read a lot of current affairs , be fluent and confident in answering questions , do not bluff. Practice speaking about yourself in two or three sentences giving the interviewer an opening to ask more questions. Be physically fit . Group discussion is an important part --speak not more than three / four times and speak sense( after hearing others). Be polite and firm and push your way in to get an opening. Do not be rude or derogatory. Practice TAT writing. Buy a good SSB (preperation) book and go through it.
"There have been times when I bought a shirt or T-shirt because it looked good on the mannequin, little realizing that when you have the figure of a mannequin, any piece of clothing — cheap or expensive, loose or body-hugging — suits you. Can anyone do an 'Anatomy of the above Sentence' explaining grammatically each and every word of it and thus introducing the confusing terms like tense, subject, predicate, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, gerund, present participle and so on to budding English Learners?" in Spoken English classes
That would require a sitting and an understanding of detailed 'English Grammar'. However , just for your information , for making the above example into a better sentence, I advise that the word ' have ' be added between 'when' and ' I' :::: '' There have been times when I HAVE bought a shirt or -------''. Remember there is good English and better English. Many times , both are grammatically correct.
