I have strong academic training and hands-on experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching. During my residency and subsequent academic roles, I have been actively involved in teaching MBBS and MD Community Medicine students, delivering lectures, tutorials, seminars, and interactive discussions aligned with the newer NMC norms. My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, application-based learning, and exam-oriented preparation, while also integrating real-world public health examples from field postings, urban and rural health training centers, and national health programs. I have conducted regular UG lectures in Community Medicine, facilitated PG academic activities including journal clubs, seminars, case discussions, and guided students in understanding research methodology, epidemiology, biostatistics, and health program implementation. In addition to institutional teaching, I have delivered inter-college academic sessions and have experience conducting online seminars and lectures, including educational content shared through digital platforms such as YouTube. These sessions were designed to simplify complex public health concepts, using visuals, case scenarios, and current policy examples to maintain learner engagement in virtual settings. I am comfortable using online teaching tools, presentation software, and interactive methods such as polls, Q&A sessions, and discussion-based learning to ensure active participation during virtual classes. My background in Community Medicine allows me to bridge theory with practice, helping students understand not just what to learn, but why it matters in clinical practice and public health decision-making.
