English & Arts Tutor | Making Literature Come Alive Through Examples

I am passionate about teaching English and Arts subjects, with a special interest in English Literature and helping students understand concepts beyond textbooks.

My teaching approach focuses on making even complex topics simple, relatable, and engaging. Rather than encouraging students to simply memorize answers, I help them understand the why behind a concept. I use real-life examples, contextual explanations, stories, and practical connections to make lessons easier to understand and remember.

When teaching literature, I encourage students to look deeper into characters, themes, symbolism, literary devices, emotions, and the writer's perspective. I believe that literature becomes much more meaningful when students are able to connect it with life, society, and their own experiences.

I also focus on helping students express their thoughts with clarity, confidence, and vitality. Whether it is writing an analytical answer, explaining a literary theme, or presenting an argument, I guide students towards expressing themselves in a more structured, impactful, and articulate manner.

My goal is not just to help students score well, but to develop their understanding, critical thinking, communication skills, and appreciation for the subject.

Subjects I can help with:
• English Language & Literature
• English Literature
• Arts/Humanities subjects
• Literary analysis & interpretation
• Answer writing and expression
• School/board examination preparation
• Conceptual understanding and revision

If you are looking for a tutor who believes in understanding rather than rote learning, I would be happy to help you or your child build a stronger and more confident approach towards English and the Arts.
