Foundational Approach- Teaching younger students requires more than just delivering textbook knowledge.it involves building their curiosity, confidence, and basic learning skills. My teaching method for Classes 1 to 5 centers around creating a strong foundation in core subjects like English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), Science, tailored to the individual learning pace of each child. In these formative years, I focus on: a.Phonics, vocabulary building, and sentence framing in English. b.Conceptual clarity in basic arithmetic and problem-solving in Mathematics. c.Understanding nature, community, and environment in EVS. d.Introducing basic scientific ideas in a simplified, engaging manner. e.Developing handwriting, reading habits, and expression skills. 2. Personalized & Child-Friendly Learning- Through my home tuition experience, I have worked with children of varying learning abilities and academic performance. I adapt my teaching style to suit each child’s needs—whether they are quick learners looking for enrichment or those needing extra support to keep up. I use techniques such as: a.Interactive storytelling and visual aids for better retention. b.Activity-based learning for hands-on understanding. c.Regular assessments through fun quizzes, worksheets, and revision games. d.Encouraging open communication to make children comfortable in expressing doubts.
