As an experienced tutor registered on UrbanPro.com, I can clarify that the CA (Chartered Accountancy) course typically involves a more extended duration than just three years after completing 12th commerce. The CA course is known for its rigorous curriculum and comprises three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. To pursue CA after 12th commerce, students usually start with the CA Foundation course. The CA Foundation is the entry-level examination, and successful completion allows students to progress to the Intermediate level. After completing the Intermediate level, students move on to the Final level. While it is possible for some students to complete the CA course in around 3 to 4 years, the actual duration can vary based on factors such as individual progress, the number of attempts taken for each level, and the time taken for practical training.
