Basically + operator is binary operator, which performs on two buil in data types. However if you wish to add two objects like complex numbers [ eg. (2+3i) + (4+6i) then its addition is (6+9i). In this case + operator needs to be overloaded with well defined code of adding both imaginary and real parts of numbers. So in main(), you can directly write objC=objA+objB (where objC,objA and objB all are complex number objects..) Hence, this makes code readable and easy to maintain. I hope you cleared your doubts... What is the actual size of INT in the C language, 2 or 4 bytes?
The actual size to int is determined by the compiler as the program runs. But theoretically the size is 2 bytes. You can increase the size by adding keyword long infront of it to make the size 4 bytes. Eg int a; // 2 bytes Long int b; // 4 bytes
