C is basically the subset of C++ programming language. C++ is widely used in robotics programming, socket and networking programming , and most important C is used in IOS app development.

C++ Programmer

C and C++ will run in the less configuration hardware, so max all the embedded systems use the C and C++. C language is more secure so networking side also will use.

If you are more interested in user level application design then go for python.There is a lot of APIs to help you there. Memory management is not your headache there. But if you want do your program from very basic very optimised then its c or cpp
