comma operator is used to carry two for loops at a time ex: for(i=1,j=10;i<=10;i++,j--) {printf("i= %d,j=%d\n",i,j); } i is increasing at the same time j is decreasing in same number of steps therefore condition for i is only checked , it implies to j as wel.

In C , comma is a operator. it is used to link the related expression together. It is evaluted from left to right. For example: v=(a=2,b=3, a+b); here 2 is assigned to a, then assign 3 to b and finally 5 is assigned to v.
