C language is the basic language for any other language which will you need in any programming...and its very easy to understand...one who is wants to do programming or development then he should know c language.

Its a structural language. All embedded companies are still working on c, companies working on micro controller need c, ios development need c. C is a basic language if learn this language you can easily learn c++ to some extent .
