You can write same program in multiple languages. Like if you want to print hello world in c. Your code will look like printf()

In C you will write printf("Hello, World!"); In perl :print 'hello'; both prints the same message the only difference is syntax. In the same way you can write any program in multiple languages by just changing the syntax.
