Do I need an additional C language certificate even if it is included in the semester syllabus?

No such requirement as such, C language builds the concept to learn other high level language like c++. yes if u want u can enroll for c++ certificate, provided by Microsoft

Its not necessary to have an additional C lang certificate. Only important thing is we must have good knowledge or grip on that subject.

yes. you need. today most of the it companies work on c /c++/java/android....etc. so just for elligibility you need certificates...but most important is knowledge of these languages.
