BTech computer or BTech IT both share almost same syllabus. i suggest go for one which is economically suitable for you as job requirements listed as "B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization" and more girls are in IT than CSE dept.

Both branches are same almost amd their relative subject are also same excpet two to three subject are different like compiler automata microprocessor rest all subjects are same in both branches

Both the branches are good with almost same syllabus and the equal prospects of getting placed. However there has been a certain affinity of students towards b.tech in CS because there is more practical work in CS. Otherwise both are more or less the same. If you get to choose, then opt for CS over IT....

I would suggest you go through 'Let Us C' by Yashwant C Kanetkar. It's a much standard book.

ISRO and DRDO conduct own exams and ISRO also calls for interview if you have good gate score, but for final selection interview is main. Most of the weightage for interview in ISRO and DRDO.
