Right now market is switching towards .net and php in Gujarat and if you planning to make your career outside of Gujarat then go for Java.

I personally thing Core java + JSP is better platform as around 1 billion application are running over java and may be in the upcoming future needed to be move to better technologies like Liferay / Sales force (Cloud) Hence should go for java + Spring + JSP
