During my Civil Engineering studies at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, I developed a strong theoretical and practical foundation in core civil engineering subjects. Key areas of focus included: Structural Analysis & Design:Understanding of load distribution, design of RCC and steel structures using IS codes. Construction Materials & Methods: Hands-on knowledge of concrete technology, testing procedures, and modern construction practices. Surveying & Geomatics Training in total station, leveling, and land measurement techniques used in site layout and planning. Transportation Engineering: Concepts in road design, traffic analysis, and pavement materials. Hydraulics & Environmental Engineering: Studied water flow dynamics, drainage systems, water treatment processes, and sustainable practices. Estimation & Quantity Surveying: Gained practical skills in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and project budgeting. Geotechnical Engineering: Analysis of soil behavior, foundation types, and earthwork design. Throughout my academic journey, I also participated in practical workshops, lab sessions, mini-projects, and technical seminars, which helped bridge the gap between theory and field application. This academic foundation, combined with over two years of professional experience, has helped me apply these concepts effectively in real-world projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
