Gap does not matter for getting a job in any sector/company. But she has to face the question during Interview.
Yes during shortlisting may not consider for few but not precisely any company.
If she has the skill, talent, confidence, expertise, positive attitude towards her work, punctual, honest, dedicated, smart worker, then definitely will be hired by the recruiter.
But but but
as she has no previous experience, during the interview, she has to express accordingly. And the answer must truth of the question WHY GAP? The interviewer will observe it.
