Debabrata Tripathy

I have been teaching Mathematics to students from Class 8 to Class 10 for the past 15 years, and helping students overcome their fear of Mathematics has always been one of my biggest motivations as a teacher. Over the years, I have worked with students of different learning abilities and helped them strengthen their fundamentals, improve their logical thinking, and develop confidence in solving problems independently.

I hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. My engineering background has helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I apply while teaching Mathematics. I believe Mathematics becomes much easier for students when concepts are explained logically and step-by-step instead of relying on memorization alone.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have focused on building strong conceptual understanding among students. I believe that once the basics are clear, students automatically become more confident in tackling difficult sums and advanced topics. My teaching style is designed to simplify concepts and make learning Mathematics more approachable and interesting for students.

One of the achievements that gives me great satisfaction is the academic performance of my students. Last year, I taught 10 students, and all of them scored 90% or above in their examinations. This result reflects my consistent emphasis on concept clarity, regular practice, and personalized guidance based on each student’s learning needs and pace.

I follow a structured lesson plan combined with interactive and engaging sessions. My classes include detailed concept explanations, step-by-step problem-solving methods, regular practice exercises, and doubt-clearing discussions. I encourage students to actively participate during classes so that learning becomes more interactive and effective rather than one-sided.

I conduct online classes using PPT presentations and whiteboard explanations to ensure students can understand concepts visually and clearly. I make sure that students feel comfortable asking questions and clarifying doubts during sessions. My aim is not only to help students score good marks but also to improve their confidence and interest in Mathematics as a subject.

Teaching has been a rewarding journey for me because it allows me to positively influence students’ academic growth and confidence. I genuinely enjoy mentoring students and helping them achieve their goals through consistent support, motivation, and effective learning techniques. I look forward to continuing this journey and guiding more students toward success in Mathematics.
