Ananya A.

I have been a student of psychology for over seven years. I graduated from Christ (Deemed to be) University, Bengaluru in BA Psychology, Sociology, English (Triple Major). I am currently pursuing PG Diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy at the University of Madras, Chennai. I interned as a teacher and/or counseling intern at various places including NGOs, special school, CBSE school, alternative play school, alternative camp for children, government special home for girls, juvenile home for boys, government hospital, counseling firm and corporate. I was a research intern at the Department of Psychology, Christ University for one year. I have also attended multiple workshops, training programs and seminars regarding CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, suicide prevention, trauma and crisis management, grief therapy, assessment of Rorschach inkblot test, interventions for substance abuse, creative movement therapy, art therapy, among others.

I enjoy collaborating and teaching. My teaching style is flexible, customized and relevant. I believe in experiential and eclectic learning methods.
