In the year of 2005, Nibedita got her place as General Scholar at ITC Sangeet Research Academy (S.R.A.). In the year of 2009 she became a senior scholar of S.R.A. She conquered 1 st and 3 rd position in Youth Festival both State and National Level respectively in 2009 & 2010. In 2011 she got National Scholarship and she completed her M.A in Music (M.Mus) from Rabindra Bharati University in the year of 2012. Nibedita has been performing as a Sitar player nationally and internationally as well. She has performed in major cities and state of India to name Mumbai, Punjab, Delhi, Orissa, Bangalore, Bhopal etc . Her performance in ICCR, Kolkata, Kuruksetra University, Youth Festival in Amritsar and Bhubaneswar are notable among them. Performed in Uttara Club, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Performance was directly telecasted in National Channel of Bangladesh: BTV and in 21TV. She was blessed to have Tabla Legend Pt. Samar Saha as accompanist with her in a concert held at ITC S.R.A, Kolkata. Now she is pursuing her Ph.d from Viswa Bharati University.
