I have several months of practical teaching experience as a Punjabi language instructor in a government village school, where I taught students from UKG to 5th standard. Handling such a wide age group required adapting my teaching methods based on the students’ level and understanding. For younger students (UKG–2nd), I focused on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and interactive learning through storytelling and simple activities. For higher classes (3rd–5th), I taught reading, writing, grammar, and sentence formation with a more structured approach. My responsibilities included: Building strong foundations in Punjabi reading, writing, and speaking Breaking down grammar into simple, understandable concepts Using real-life examples to improve communication skills Managing classroom engagement across multiple age groups This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to teach beginners as well as slightly advanced learners effectively.
