Over the past few years, I have developed strong experience in teaching acoustic guitar to students of various age groups and skill levels. My teaching journey began by giving one-on-one tuition sessions to beginners in my locality. As a trained musician with a diploma in music from MSU, Vadodara, I integrate both practical playing and theoretical knowledge into my lessons. I focus on building a strong foundation, starting with posture, finger placement, and basic open chords, and gradually moving to strumming patterns, rhythm training, and melody picking. My approach is student-centered—I adapt my pace and methods according to each student’s learning style. For intermediate learners, I also introduce techniques like barre chords, fingerstyle, and improvisation. I ensure that students not only learn how to play songs, but also understand the structure of music. I use tools like metronome exercises, chord theory, and ear training to help them develop musical independence. I also help students prepare for performances and competitions, guiding them on stage presence, confidence, and expression. Apart from individual sessions, I have also taken small group classes, focusing on ensemble playing and musical collaboration. My aim is always to make learning guitar joyful, disciplined, and creatively fulfilling.
