Is it true that bank clerks (particularly at cash counters) are asked to be in their seats all day even without attending nature's call?

Of course not. However bank clerks are required to be exceptional professionals and are usually so busy that they themselves don't get time for anything, not that it's forced upon them.

Yes you can apply for bank clerk. As it requires only 12 or senior secondary certificate. For bank PO graduation is required.
