Ask a Question
For kids who are learning guitar, I recommend choosing an instrument that is comfortable to hold and easy to play. A 1/2 or 3/4-size guitar is suitable for younger children, while older kids can usually start with a full-size guitar. It doesn't have to be expensive—just choose a decent beginner guitar that stays in tune and feels comfortable. The right size and regular practice are much more important than the brand.

I generally recommend starting with acoustic guitar because it helps build finger strength and develops proper playing technique. Most importantly, choose a guitar that is comfortable to hold, stays in tune, and has a good setup to make learning enjoyable.
If you're unsure which size or model is right for your child, I'd be happy to help you choose one based on their age and height.
