On completing a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore which included a research project entitled "Comparative Account Of Invertebrate and Vertebrate Cell Responses To Different Concentrations Of Vitamins," I discovered my urge to get a deeper understanding of applied sciences and my passion for imparting knowledge through the academic profession. I have worked as a Lecturer in Biotechnology for two years and thoroughly enjoyed playing a role in the success of future scientists! I also had the experience of completing a nutrition & dietetics course in the USA in 2018 which expanded my approach to learning sciences.
My love of teaching stems from my zest for learning sciences and discovering new possibilities through research that can impact human health & well- being. I believe that a good teacher may teach well, but a great teacher should inspire. I specialise in teaching applied sciences under biotechnology like cell biology, microbiology, plant and animal biotechnology and biology for higher secondary level and BSc students.
Learning is a life long process, and I choose to define teaching/tutoring as a fun learning session where a more experienced learner facilitates the learning of a less experienced learner.
I am generally available for tutoring from Monday to Saturday between 10 am -6 pm. I could be flexible with the time and rate. Contact me for more details.
