Teaching Experience in detail in Class I-V Tuition

I have experience teaching students from Classes 1 to 5 through home tuition. During this time, I taught subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, and Science according to the students’ school syllabus. My main responsibility was to help children understand concepts clearly, complete homework, and prepare for tests and examinations. I used simple and interactive teaching methods to make learning interesting for young students. I explained lessons through examples from daily life, storytelling, drawings, and practice exercises. I always tried to create a friendly environment where students felt comfortable asking questions and expressing their doubts. I focused on improving students’ reading, writing, speaking, and calculation skills. Regular revision, worksheets, dictation, and small tests were used to check their understanding and progress. I also gave extra attention to weak subjects and motivated students to practice regularly. Along with academics, I encouraged discipline, good study habits, time management, and confidence building. I maintained positive communication with parents and informed them about the child’s progress and areas needing improvement. This teaching experience helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to understand different learning styles of children. It also strengthened my passion for teaching and guiding young learners. Overall, working as a tutor for primary classes has been a valuable and rewarding experience for me, as I was able to support children in building a strong educational foundation and improving their confidence in studies.
