Teaching Experience in detail in Software Testing classes
I have extensive teaching and mentoring experience in Software Testing and Test Automation, gained through a combination of corporate training, internal enablement programs, and one-on-one mentoring over the last several years. My primary focus has been on modern test automation using Playwright (TypeScript), along with strong foundations in Selenium, API testing, CI/CD integration, and automation framework design. I have designed and delivered hands-on, job-oriented training programs for manual testers, QA engineers, and SDETs, helping them transition from manual testing to automation-first roles. My training approach emphasizes real-world application, where learners build end-to-end Playwright frameworks from scratch, covering locator strategies, Page Object Model, reusable utilities, API automation, parallel execution, debugging, and test reporting. In addition to tool-focused training, I place an emphasis on testing fundamentals and quality engineering practices, including test design techniques, shift-left testing, automation strategy, and defect root cause analysis. I regularly conduct live coding sessions, framework walkthroughs, and code reviews, enabling learners to understand not just how to write automation, but why certain design decisions are made. I also train engineers on integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, and Jenkins, ensuring they understand how automated tests contribute to continuous quality in real production environments. More recently, I have incorporated AI-assisted testing practices, demonstrating how tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Playwright MCP can be used responsibly to accelerate test creation, refactoring, and maintenance. Overall, my teaching style is practical, structured, and interview-oriented, ensuring learners gain both hands-on confidence and industry-ready skills in modern software testing.
