PROJECT PROFILE Computational Modeling of Ultrasound Propagation in Soft Tissue (2011):
This project was executed under the guidance of Dr Prof Phaneendra K Yalavarthy, Medical Imaging Group, Super Computer and Research Centre as a part of Final Masters Dissertation work. There is a Novel technique of Medical Imaging, Photo Acoustic Tomography. It involved the analyzing and identifying of the air gaps and other anomalies in Image obtained. Its application involves the detection of the Breast Cancer at very early stage. The project required an Matlab Image Tool Box and KWave Tool Box on a Mac Platform.
