My teaching style has always been student centric. I understand that all the students are individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses and so teaching cannot be a one-size-fits-all. I use different methods to supplement my lesson plan so the class remains interesting and the students do not get distracted.I engage my students in active discussions, hands-on activities and various activities for different topics. This helps the students understand the concept in a better way. Sometimes I accommodate games into teaching like Kaun Banega Crorepati, Truth and Dare, Dumb Charades, Think-Pair-and-Share, memory game etc. and I have received a very good response from the students. I prefer to complete the syllabus before time so that I can take doubt clearing sessions and lots of revision.I help my students to overcome their weaknesses through repeated effort and focus. It gives 100% results in my subject. My classroom has a strict rule about respecting everyone’s turn to speak, and express their opinions and doubts . I take care to provide a positive learning environment in my class for students so they can clear all their doubts without being scared. I always Support my students through communication instead of reprimanding them. It works very well for both the students’ as well as overall classroom environment. I approach every class with an enthusiastic attitude and a bright smile which creates a positive and energetic tone for the class.

Hello everyone/sir/ma’am, I am Usha Gupta.I hold a masters in Chemistry after which I pursued a B.Ed.Teaching is not only my profession but my passion too. Over my 21 years of teaching journey, I have learnt a lot, be it from my superiors, my colleagues, my students, my own kids, so I am always looking for ways to contribute my knowledge and expertise however possible. I have a tremendous experience in teaching all types of classes.I began my journey as a PGT in Chemistry. I was in a government job. After getting married to an air force officer, I resigned from the job and joined as a PRT for four years and then as a TGT for twelve years with a special focus on Chemistry. I have been actively involved in roles beyond my subject as well, taking on the duties of a Lab incharge, House Coordinator, Class Coordinator,Science Subject coordinator, making question banks, creating activities for slow learners, participating in workshops and certifications. I have also represented my school in various inter-school events. (the most notable being the Go-Green initiative where we attained laurels at a national platform.) I am a very focused, result oriented and creative person. Teamwork is an important attribute to my personal as well as professional life.I have always maintained a high standard for my work. I love working with young minds and shaping them to achieve their maximum potential. I connect with my students and understand their issues .This helps me to develop a really good bond with all my students which remains even after they graduate from my class. Other than academics I am well versed in oil painting , glass painting, fabric painting, engraving, embossing, flower making, gardening etc. Teaching brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction and I am sure that given the opportunity, I will be an asset to your organisation through my work and my attitude.
