I am Dr. Tamilselvam Nallusamy, an Associate Professor and Research Lead in Aeronautical Engineering with a Ph.D. in ultra-high temperature ceramic composites for aerospace re-entry applications and over fourteen years of teaching and research experience across leading engineering colleges in India. I offer tutoring and mentoring for undergraduate and postgraduate students in aerospace and aeronautical engineering, covering subjects such as Aerospace Propulsion, Aerospace Materials, Aircraft Structures, Space Mechanics, Launch Vehicle Dynamics, Re-Entry and Reusable Launch Vehicles, Finite Element Analysis, and UAV design. My particular strength lies in guiding students through academic projects and assignments. I have personally supervised twenty-one undergraduate and four postgraduate projects, ranging from UAV design and fabrication to composite material characterization and structural analysis, and I have mentored student teams through national platforms including the Ministry of Education's Toycathon and Smart India Hackathon, ISRO's model rocketry competition, and various technical paper and design competitions, several of which won awards or reached national finals. I understand what makes a strong final-year or semester project, from choosing a feasible and original topic to structuring the report, running the analysis or experiment correctly, and preparing for the viva or presentation. For assignments, I focus on building a clear conceptual foundation first, so that numerical problems and design calculations become straightforward rather than something to memorize. I also help students use tools such as ANSYS and MATLAB where relevant to their coursework, since I use these in my own research on thermomechanical modeling. Having established rocket propulsion and composite testing laboratories and led research funded by agencies such as SERB and UGC, I bring practical, industry-relevant depth to tutoring rather than a purely textbook approach. Alongside my academic role, I offer tutoring, mentoring, and consulting to students and individuals at different stages of their learning and career journey. For school students from Class I to Class XII, I teach Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. For Class I-V, I build strong foundational skills in Mathematics and General Science through simple explanations and step-by-step practice. For Class VI-X, I strengthen conceptual understanding and prepare students confidently for board exams, linking topics to real-world applications. For Class XI-XII, I provide focused, exam-oriented support in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science for board and competitive examinations, drawing on my engineering background for depth and clarity. For engineering students, especially in aerospace and aeronautical engineering, I teach subjects such as Aerospace Propulsion, Aerospace Materials, Aircraft Structures, Space Mechanics, Launch Vehicle Dynamics, and Finite Element Analysis, with special focus on academic projects and assignments. This is mentoring and motivational support, not professional mental health treatment, and I encourage anyone facing serious personal or emotional difficulties to also seek a qualified counsellor or medical professional.
